So, yeah, with my love of mythology, you'd be shocked to hear I never listened to Hadestown until recently. That is until I went to a karaoke event to support local theatres and someone sang 'Wait for Me' and it's been in my head ever since.
All I thought of was a scenario of Jack going into the Dark World in an effort to rescue Aqua. Reluctantly, he seeks Pitch's advice on getting in/getting though the Dark World. Of course, the darkness starts to gnaw at him, but constant thoughts of Aqua and making his own fun fuels his quest to power through.

So, one of my online friends was super sweet and bought me a copy of Fire Emblem: 3 Houses to play as we cope in this crazy world of opening/reopening. Needless to say, I LOVED it. But the thing I loved the most was the romance between Byleth (your avatar character) and the lord of the Blue Lions, Prince Dimitri. Its one of those stories that Im jealous of because I want to write a story/character arc like that. Two people that make one another better while supporting and leaning on each other.
A lot of people often bring up Beauty and the Beast when they talk about Dimileth, particularly in part 2 where he acts like, well, a beast due to having no healthy way to cope with his trauma/framing/attempted murder.
The idea of this was a sort of reflection of sorts Dimitri has before Byleth returns to the monastery in the Azure Moon route, hallucinating her as both a tormentor and the supporter he had fallen in love with, all while struggling with his own vengeance streak.
