The fastest way to get to the credits is basically to do the dumbest thing with every character you can think of. This is the fastest run on PC, and shows all the prompts for mouse and keyboard.
This game has a bug that causes USB microphones to crackle while playing with mouse and keyboard. Sometimes I do runs using a PS4 controller and this problem goes away, but I had a better routed guide to use for this setup so I wanted to see how fast I could get it
This run claims to be 3rd place on the speedrun leaderboard for the category. The original disk for ps4 includes tricks that were patched out of recent versions, possibly totaling over 30 seconds of timesave that is not possible on PC. I don't know if I can go for the world record in this one, the current runner has a very competitive time that includes some of these original disk version exclusives.
The timer is paused during loading screens. The run was retimed to more accurately remove the loading screens from the time.
The time with loading screens is 2:54:17

In this puzzle, all the starting positions of the letters are the same, so I worked out sequences that would put the words together as long as I did every move the same every time.
Im sure these arent the fastest possible sequences, Im not nearly good enough at a puzzle like this to find that.

Very tight run of all the stages with my current skill level and strategies. My sum of bests (which isnt accurate in the timer) is likely only a minute or two max faster than this.
