Dance, art and community come together at the Farmington Valley Dance Festival in Avon. Rachel Knakowski and Fiona Berlin of New England Ballet Theatre join CT Live to preview the inaugural festival, featuring dance classes for different ages and skill levels, interactive art zones and opportunities to explore everything from ballet to hip hop.

The festivities also include a “Dancing Under the Stars” performance featuring professional dancers, guest companies and students. Plus, learn about Overture, the festival’s kickoff celebration featuring preview performances, a Charleston dance lesson and a chance to meet dancers and choreographers.
