We drove 11 hours to Montana to meet with one of our Kamut farmers, Delmar Benjamin, and interview him about what it takes to really grown organic Kamut wheat on the plains of Montana.
We had such a windy day, we learned how the topsoil simply blows away. We could barely stand still and even the camera crew got pushed around while filming.
Delmar teaches us so much about farming and how to avoid wind erosion. Just as we were in the middle of our tour, the truck we borrowed from Dad would NOT start! The fob would not work and we have to get back to our hotel for our big dinner!
The Fob was not detected even though we were holding it.

FAQ: IS KAMUT® FLOUR GLUTEN FREE?
Kamut® flour is NOT gluten-free, but has often been found to affect people differently than typical flour gluten. Some studies have shown that Kamut® flour and products might be more digestible for people who experience symptoms of gluten intolerance.
The Food Nanny DOES NOT claim Kamut® flour is okay for people with gluten intolerance issues or Celiac disease. Many customers with one or the other have commented that the gluten in Kamut® flour does not affect them. Individual results may vary.
