On June 6th 2024, Jazz Aviation, which operates flights on behalf of Air Canada Express, officially retired their last CRJ-200 from active service.

The CRJ-100 and -200 fleet had steadily been shrinking over the past decade or so, and eventually disappeared from Western Canada entirely. By February of this year, they had only 3 of them actively flying out east.

I had not actually flown on any of Jazz’s CRJ-200s before, so, just in case, I knew I needed to fly on one of these planes before it was too late.
