#55. Q: What’s the rule for sole protectors in men’s style?
Consider sole protectors for rainy weather because leather soles, although looking supremely cool looking, can become very slippery and treacherous if you hit a stone surface and water combination and you can hurt yourself when you fall. They can even be an issue if the hill slope angle is quite sharp and before you know it, you are taking evasive action to stop yourself from winding up on the pavement in your suit – not a great look. As you get older, the last thing you want is really cool soles on your nice shoes, but you can’t wear them because you are have hip surgery from the fall.
