#51. Q: Should your tie and pocket square match exactly?
Choose the tie first and then look for the pocket square which will have complementary but not perfectly matching colours. Avoid buying tie and pocket square sets, which come pre-packaged and match the colours exactly. These are designed to sell product, not to make you look professional and elegant. Some commentators recommend forgetting about trying to match the tie and pocket square colours altogether and go for something completely different. I still think there should be some degree of complementarity, rather than a random selection. You only have to pick out one colour that is common in the tie and the pocket square and you are good to go.

Shirt: Blue shirt from Thomas Pink London 1984 with English Cuffs. Abbeyhorn Holme 1749 horn collars stays from Kirby Allison Dallas 2007
Tie: Thomas Pink dark blue and white striped tie in a Windsor knot.
Socks: Grey over the calf socks

Pocket Square: Dark blue pocketsquare from Isaia Napoli 1920 in a reverse puff. Stabiliser from Kuska Fabrics Kyoto 1936.

Card Holder: Lanvin Paris 1889
Watch: Vintage gold 3000.2.M model Gucci Firenze 1921 with a very simple black dial. The burgundy alligator strap is able to be swapped out for my black Alligator strap when I need to do so, thanks to the Jean Rousseau Paris 1954 customisation.
Fragrance: Bleu de Chanel Paris 2010
ð High Shine Shoes: The high shine shoes were dark brown, Vergano calf, Camina Mallorca 1954, toe cap Oxfords with a swan neck design, the Rain last, JR Redenbach soles.
Intention outcomes: The image was successful and looked good for both mediums.
