Julie spent her 20s focused on building her career, unsure if motherhood was part of her future. But after being diagnosed with polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS), she made a proactive decision to preserve her fertility through egg freezing. Working in fertility benefits at Progyny, Julie understood the value of having options and chose to invest in her future.

With guidance from Dr. Alan Copperman, Julie completed two egg retrievals. It’s now years later, and Julie is pregnant following a successful IVF cycle and frozen embryo transfer.

RMA of New York is celebrating 25 years of advancing fertility science and turning hope into possibility. Family Portraits is a series of stories from RMA of New York patients.
