After a long break (sorry - I've been busy, alright?!), Writing On Games is back! Today, I'm here to talk about Fallout 4 - a game whose hype pre-release could be rivalled by very few games, yet has divided fan opinion like no other game in recent memory. Some say this is due to the game's similarities to previous entries in the series - here I argue through analysis of systems old and new why Fallout 4 is actually less effective than 3 or New Vegas, for example. I also attempt to explain why the game left me somewhat disappointed, despite still being one of the better games of the year. This is just my opinion, feel free to disagree!
