The #FallingWalls Lab UK gave students and early-career professionals of all disciplines, from various universities and start-ups, the opportunity to showcase breakthrough #research that creates a positive impact on #science and society.
The presenters pitched their innovative ideas to an audience, including a panel of judges, in just three minutes, with the winner Paul Tarlatt (Breaking the wall of the tumour prison) from the University of Oxford going on to compete in the grand finale in Berlin, Germany, in November 2025.
The Falling Walls Lab UK was organised by the Department of Engineering; @cambridgeuniversity; the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE); the Federal Foreign Office of Germany; and the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD).
