Fake Love, Instrumental-Bharatanatyam Fusion cover of the 2018 K-pop hit by BTS. The song, remixed as ‘Rocking Vibe Mix’, helped this South Korean group reach number 10 on the US Billboard Hot 100. Here the music is a fusion of Western classical violin and Indian classical Sitar, with Indian classical dance Bharatanatyam providing a contrast between the intricate dance steps and the high energy of the piece. The instrumental cover, played almost 1.5 times faster than the original song, is by Mayukha Kashyap (violin) and Ishan Varma (sitar) and Arshia Rajeshnarayanan is the Bharatanatyam dancer. This piece is an impromptu collaboration between the artists that was developed and produced in two days!
