I wrote a melody to practice the lap steel guitar (trying to get David Linley screams). I made an easy chorus (Dm, Em, Dm, Em, Dm, Em, C), but wound up making the verse too complicated (C, Cmaj7/B, Am9/D), so I decided to play some electric guitar instead.
