The New European Bauhaus — where architecture, urban planning, economics, and sustainability come together to shape a better future.
*Eva McAlister López* is a policy officer in the NEB team at the Joint Research Centre. She works directly with the NEB community — including NGOs, academic institutions, and other organisations — to help transform the spaces we live in, bringing in diverse perspectives to ensure inclusive, sustainable, and beautiful solutions.
A concrete example of this vision is the new JRC building in Seville. Designed entirely in line with NEB principles, it will become the European Commission’s first net-zero emissions building once completed.
