Meet Denise Lapointe and David Carruthers, award-winning artisans of paper. They will share the historical origins of Papeterie Saint-Armand, their paper-making business in Montreal, and describe the materials and the intricate process of paper production. We will come to know their vital role as suppliers and makers of books. Come and explore a paper landscape with us!

We invite you to explore the textures of Saint-Armand Paper for yourselves! While we have many samples and books made with Saint-Armand paper here in the McGill Library collections, the Saint-Armand paper mill is open to visitors as well. Find details their website: st-armand.com
