Let's start with South Korea.
For its indigenous KF-21 Boramae fighter program, Hanwha Aerospace signed a contract worth around 400 million dollars to supply more than 40 GE F414 engines, along with spare parts, maintenance support, and other services.
When the overall package is broken down, the cost comes to roughly 10 million dollars per engine, and importantly, South Korea will manufacture these engines locally under a licensing agreement with GE. This gives the country not only a competitive price but also long-term industrial capability.
