After I filmed what you saw in my last video upload, I continued to fish knowing that I already had captured what I needed to tell my story. Shortly afterwards I caught a few real nice ones but I feared adding them to what I had already shot seemed forced. Like extra spice to an already delicious steak. I don't know. Maybe I worry a bit too much about continuity. Or story narrative. Maybe big fish ARE more important?
However, in the past I have watched a few youtubers that caught very nice fish. Over and over and over... That makes for a nice day of fishing but not necessarily a video that is fun to watch for the viewers. I genuinely had a great time fishing this day from my little Argo kayak. The good bite had something to do with it, but it was also because I was loving that little boat. So, the last video was dedicated to that and this video (with very little editing) is all about a few nice snook. Raw and simple.
