(CDI) of Phoenix, Maryland, USA (acting as Explosives Subcontractor to Main Demolition Contractor, Jackson Demolition Service, Inc. of Schenectady, New York) performs the preparation for and successful explosives felling of one (1), thermally damaged, 92-hub height Wind Turbine Unit located at the Marble River Wind Farm in Churubusco, New York.
Preparations per CDI design were completed on a single day and the Unit was felled the following morning on Saturday, June 29, 2024, with the Unit falling precisely along the access road to mitigate damage to the forest otherwise surrounding the site.
