(CDI) of Phoenix, Maryland, USA (acting as Explosives Subcontractor to the Main Demolition Contractor, ICONCO, Inc. of Oakland, California) performs the preparation for and explosives felling of the two (2) high-rise portions of the former Montgomery Wards Buildings (8-stories each) in Oakland, California on March 25, 2001. Use of explosives dramatically reduced the equipment cost and duration of site performance for the Main Contractor on behalf of the property owner developing the property.
