Granular synthesis breaks sound into tiny fragments—called grains—and rearranges them to create entirely new textures. I have a lot of experience with granular modules such as Mutable Instruments Clouds and Beads, but the Instruo Arbhar takes this concept even further by providing several layers of granular sampling, which we can access simultaneously. In today's video I give an overview of the Instruo Arbhar before diving into some sonic explorations. There's so much to explore with this module that I will likely be back to check out some of it's more esoteric secrets in future.
