Welcome to Helsinki, the capital city of Finland and we are here to explore the country's largest Christmas market. Let us start by saying that the Helsinki Christmas market called Tuomaan Markkinat located in Senate Square is massive, busy and very expensive but it has some very unique Christmas food we had never seen anywhere else in Europe.
The Christmas market ambiance was on point with Christmas music, Christmas lights and nicely decorated stalls selling everything from arts and craft to authentic Finnish food. And talking about Finnish dishes, we loved the reindeer soup and smoked salmon wrap.
Overall this Finland Christmas market was great but if you can, avoid visiting it during the weekend as it can get extremely busy which takes away from this Holiday experience.
