While in La Jolla, California, we visited Sunny Jim’s Sea Cave and the sea lions at La Jolla Cove. Now we’re headed to one of the area’s most mysterious landmarks — the Abandoned Mushroom House. Its real name is the Bell Pavilion House, built in the late 1960s for Sam Bell of Bell’s Potato Chips as a futuristic guest house perched above Black’s Beach. Our mission today is to find the Mushroom House and show you what it looks like outside and inside, then compare it to how it looked years ago. Come join our family as we look for the Mushroom House.
