We visited Cades Cove in Townsend, TN, which is close to Gatlinburg. Spanning 6,800 acres, this beautiful scenic loop is located in the valley of the Great Smoky Mountains. With its rich history dating back to Cherokee hunters and early European settlers from the 1800s, Cades Cove boasts the park’s largest variety of historic buildings. There is a lot of wildlife to see here, but our mission today is to see a black bear. Join us as we explore this 11-mile loop. Let’s go!
