For those that like endstops, this machine will be able to figure out where all the hard stops are and where the bed is with one lonely accelerometer. This will truly allow one touch printing. The only other thing I might be missing is a filament feed sensor. I think I will leave it off just to give the early adopters something to do.
This could also apply to many Cartesian printers. For instance you could replace a Prusa's x stops, z stops, and depth probe.
