๐Ÿ“š In quantum mechanics, the possible outcomes of a measurement are associated with a probability distribution. In this video we learn how to characterize probability distributions in quantum mechanics using two simple concepts from probability theory: expectation values and root mean square deviations. These two quantities are extremely useful in many areas, including the famous Heisenberg uncertainty principle.
