📚 Kets, bras, and operators can be written as column vectors, row vectors, and matrices. This leads to the formulation of quantum theory known as matrix mechanics, in which the usual operations of quantum mechanics can be written using the usual rules of matrix multiplication. We first explain how to write this formulation, and then we work through a number of examples to see it in action.
