Intuit Dome is an upcoming sports and entertainment arena in Inglewood, California. It will be the future home of the NBA’s Los Angeles Clippers. The arena broke ground in September 2021 and is expected to open for the 2024-2025 NBA season.

Designed to be a state-of-the-art venue, Intuit Dome will have a seating capacity of around 18,000 and will feature various fan-focused amenities, including “The Wall,” a massive section of seats to create a loud, energized atmosphere. The facility will also prioritize sustainability, with plans for solar-powered energy and water conservation features.

The Intuit Dome is part of a larger trend of teams building their own dedicated venues. This will allow the Clippers to have a distinct identity separate from the Lakers, with whom they currently share the Crypto.com Arena.

In addition to serving as the future home for the Los Angeles Clippers, the Intuit Dome is designed to be a technological and sustainability powerhouse. The arena will be equipped with advanced digital integration, allowing fans to have a seamless experience from parking to seating, with features like mobile check-in, cashless transactions, and interactive digital displays throughout the venue. The arena is being built with fan comfort in mind, with wider concourses, comfortable seating, and a focus on sightlines that ensure every seat in the house has an excellent view of the action.

One of the standout features of the Intuit Dome will be the "Halo Board," an enormous, 360-degree continuous LED screen that will encircle the interior of the arena. This will be one of the largest and most immersive screens in any sports venue worldwide, providing fans with real-time stats, replays, and enhanced visual effects during games and events.

The arena will also include a practice facility for the Clippers, offices, and community spaces. In line with Inglewood’s ongoing redevelopment, the Intuit Dome will serve as a key attraction, contributing to the economic revitalization of the area.

Sustainability is a core element of the project. The Intuit Dome aims to achieve carbon neutrality by being fully solar-powered. Plans include over 1,000 solar panels and the ability to generate renewable energy on-site. The facility will also prioritize water conservation, using advanced systems to significantly reduce water usage.

The Clippers' owner, Steve Ballmer, has emphasized the importance of creating a fan-first atmosphere, and this is reflected in the arena's design and features. The goal is to create an intense home-court advantage with features like "The Wall," a dedicated section of 51 uninterrupted rows of seats behind one of the baskets designed to amplify crowd noise and create a raucous environment for opponents. This setup is inspired by European soccer stadiums, known for their passionate and vocal fan bases.

In addition to hosting Clippers games, the Intuit Dome is expected to be a premier destination for concerts, esports events, and other entertainment events, making it a versatile venue that will contribute to the cultural fabric of Los Angeles.
