It’s difficult to put into words just how excited I was ahead of the release of Bungie's Halo 2 on Xbox back in 2004.
I wanted to find out what twists and turns Halo's story was going to take next and see how Bungie had built on the masterpiece that was Halo: Combat Evolved, but the biggest draw, for me, was the prospect of battling The Covenant on Earth for the very first time.
Thankfully, I didn’t have to wait long, with a trip to Old Mombasa the subject of Halo 2's second proper level… and it’s one I have mixed feelings about, which I explore during this video.
