Welcome to GamerU tips and tricks for Evolve. This video will teach you about finding and getting buffs.

Both the hunters and monster will be able to find and receive buffs from wildlife that can give them an advantage in the game. Buffs can be found on elite wildlife throughout the level. You can tell the elite creatures from the normal ones because they will be white and have a small star shape over them which will help you tell them apart. Each elite creature will always drop the same buff, but the buff can be different whether it is picked up by the hunters or the monster.

As the hunter you must remember if you kill an elite animal for the buff that the monster may still get the buff if he finds the dead animal and eats it. The hunters can never receive a buff if the monster eats it before the hunters get to it. Each buff will last five minutes.

The buffs will not stack on each other so every time you pick up a new buff the previous one will be replaced. When you stand near a dead elite it will let you know what the buff is. You don't have to pick up every buff you see so make sure if you already have a buff you like not to pick up a new one until the one you have it is used up or almost used up.

Well, that’s it for now. Thanks again and check GamerU for more tips on Evolve.
