What happens when a creationist commenter tells me to “just ask AI” about evolution?
Well… in this episode of God’s Troll Army, that’s exactly what I did.
After a viewer dropped a long, smug, anti-evolution comment under one of my older videos—and insisted that AI would expose how wrong I am—I decided to put that claim to the test. I fed the full comment into Gemini and ChatGPT using the same neutral prompt and asked both AIs for a balanced assessment of the arguments.
The result?
Let’s just say it did not go the way my commenter hoped.
In this episode, Adam of NOLA breaks down a classic creationist comment packed with claims about:
• the “mathematical impossibility” of life arising naturally
• DNA and abiogenesis
• observed speciation
• transitional fossils
• the Cambrian explosion
• fragmentary fossil evidence
• museum reconstructions
• and the usual “do your research” nonsense
Then we compare those claims against what AI actually says when asked to evaluate them fairly.
