My kids aged 5 and 8 can easily work on fraction problems from these workbooks(up to 6th grade) because of the concrete material and practical life problems practice.
When the kids don’t feel like doing workbooks, I use them to create games on flashcards to make things more interesting.

You can DIY the Nail Board shown by using the protractor in the PDF and following a similar tutorial here: youtube.com/watch?v=4v0XYkvj3z4 (This tutorial shows a different design, but it can be adapted to make the nail board).
Use the protractor printout to place nails at 30-degree intervals, starting at 0, as shown in the video.
Add a nail to the center of the board, punch a hole in the protractor, and insert it into the nail.
