I was introduced to this classic book at an event for training new managers at some of the worlds' largest companies. "How to talk so kids will listen and listen so kids will talk doesn't only apply to kids. It's a tool belt that provides you ideas to deal with any human interactions. I have personally diffused many a bombs with my toddler and her friends. This is a completely new way of thinking for me as I was raised in a harsh environment. We never even used the word empathy and modeling good behavior wasn't given priority over authority. I read this book over and over to strengthen this new language I am learning and highly recommend it to anyone dealing with humans.
