Taking a look at every state's Highway 1. For some, it's a prominent route or a very scenic drive. For others, it's a sad little road of only a few miles going through the suburbs, and for others it's seemingly random. Here I look at the Highway 1 for each state to see if each is designated 1 because of importance, location, or whatever other reason.
