A review of various world atlases that are available or recently out-of-print. I look at the Times Comprehensive Atlas of the World, the National Geographic Atlas of the World, the Oxford Atlas of the World, Collins Complete World Atlas, Goode's World Atlas, Rand McNally New International Atlas, and a few more. With atlases being expensive and not usually available for perusing at a bookstore before purchase, it's important to know what they might be like before buying one. I go through each of these to determine which ones show which regions of the world best and which one might be best suited for whatever you need an atlas for.
