If you are driving an EV, one of the key questions is whether you can trust the range displayed by the car. Not being able to trust the car leads to the infamous range anxiety. Conversely, if you know that irrespective of whether you have 100km, 50km or 20km left on the display, you will be able to drive that distance, then there is no reason to worry.
Let's look in practice at the last 22 miles of a c.130 mile range displayed by the car to see whether we stand a chance of finishing the trip or whether we are going to end up waiting for support on the side of the road.
