The *European Technology Transfer Offices circle* , also known as TTO Circle, is a network of the technology transfer offices of Europe's largest Public Research Organisations (PROs), including the Joint Research Centre.
Since its conception, the TTO Circle has been contributing to boosting technology transfer and innovation in Europe by acting as a hub for exchange of best practices and collaboration among its members. It is also helping its members in exploiting their knowledge portfolios and in communicating with policymakers.
The expertise provided by the Joint Research Centre in the domain of technology transfer originates from the practical experience in technology commercialisation and exploitation of the JRC Technology Transfer Office. This expertise is reinforced by access to best practices and knowledge of the member organisations of the European TTO Circle.

The Joint Research Centre, in collaboration with the Directorate-General for Health and Food Safety (DG SANTE), has set up the European Consumer Food Waste Forum in order to address consumer food waste. Researchers and practitioners work together to find solutions and develop tools to help reduce consumer food waste. The EC Knowledge Centre for Bioeconomy coordinates the dissemination of the Forums activities.
