Hi everybody. Andy here with etrailer. Let's take a quick look at this Timbren Front Wheel BES brake upgrade kit. Now this kit has been designed to fit your 2014 to 2018 Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra 1500 with the six piston calipers, and then your 2019 Silverado and Sierra 1500 LD and Limited, again, with the six piston calipers. On custom fit parts such as this kit, I do recommend taking advantage of our vehicle fit guide here at etrailer. Just input the year, make and model of your vehicle, answer any other questions that it might have for you.
And our fit guide will confirm if this kit will work for you or if we have something comparable that will work for you. Now upgrading your suspension of your truck can improve the ride quality, can help reduce that sagging, and it can make your truck feel more stable while you're towing or hauling, but it doesn't reduce the extra workload that are placed on your factory brakes. So if you've ever felt like that your truck takes longer to stop with a trailer or with those heavier loads, or maybe your brakes are wearing faster than you've expected, or adding weight to your truck is making your braking feeling less confident, that's where this BES brake upgrade kit is going to come in. This kit is designed to give your truck stronger, more consistent braking when it's carrying heavier loads. So this OnyxBond coating has a heat threshold of 932 degrees Fahrenheit, which is 67% better than your standard Geomat coatings on most commonly used OEM parts.
And so that coating's going to help protect from rust as well. It's caused by road spray, moisture and winter driving. That's going to help keep your brakes looking cleaner between services without affecting braking performance. These pads and rotors feature a break-in coating and finish that's going to help speed up the bedding in process so you're going to be able to enjoy consistent braking performance sooner rather than later. And installation's going to be pretty straightforward. This is going to come with everything that you see here, the hardware, the lubricant, the pads, and these rotors, and everything is high quality here from Timbren.
