bap8guy | ESI RV622 VOLTAGE DIVIDER @bap8guy | Uploaded November 2015 | Updated October 2024, 3 hours ago.
This is a 6 decade Kelvin Varley type voltage divider made by ESI. It can divide an input voltage (roughly 0 to 20 volts) by any the decimal equivalent of the 6 dials on its face. Input 1 v and you can produce any voltage down to the microvolt with amazing accuracy. This particular RV622 has a 1000 ohm input, can handle 1/2w of power and has a specified linearity of .001, or 10PPM.
I will take you through theory, show you the internals and then demonstrate the use of the RV622 6 decade Kelvin Varley Voltage Divider.
