Here is a nice Microtek 3800 scanner that I will load in the driver and test on my Windows XP computer. The Microtek 3800 uses what they called edge design, meaning it was newer and better than the previous scanners. It still does a nice job.

Basically accurate to about 1% or less up to 10Mhz and within 3db up to about 30Mhz these little beauties can read voltages from 1 mv full scale to 300v full scale. I introduce the meter, test its response to calibrated voltages and test its frequency response in this video. A variety of interesting equipment is used in the process.$
