The HP3435A was introduced about 1976. It is a 3 1/2 digit DVM, capable of measuring DC voltage, AC voltage, Resistance, DC Amperage, and AC Amperage in multiple ranges. The workmanship was superb. The parts were excellent. In this video I introduce one that I have restored, calibrated and then performance tested using the manuals performance test guidelines. I was able to do so in nearly all ranges and functions of the unit and it passed with flying colors. It is a lengthy video, but it covers a lot of ground. It took several hours to make, and thousands of dollars in equipment to perform. Even so, I could not complete it all. Skip through it as you wish.
