Jim Sent me the latest version of his game "Monsters in the Manor" now renamed "Escape from Monster Manor." I have integrated those updates with my fixes to allow the game to run in standard BASIC using a 16K ram pack. He's altered combat slightly and added a fast message option. And there is a flashlight which briefly reveals where treasure chests are located.
