A few years back I did some edits to Darren's (Daz's) super MCX-SD game for the TRS-80 MC-10 to make it run on a regular MC-10 without MCX. But I always missed the dark green background that he had used for many of the screens in the game. I've been able to put that background back in using the short M/L routine (can't remember who developed it, but thanks). Also added Greg Dionne's Key polling PEEKS, which I find make for much smoother and reliable key input. My son Charlie has played this game to the end, but I don't I have ever been able. Going to try again.
