Gamble was a science instructor at Columbia College, in Vancouver BC. He made this simulation of a disease outbreak in a closed community (an island) in 1981. It was published in the May Issue of Compute! Magazine. This is a port of his BASIC code to the TRS-80 MC-10. The demo can be run at the Internet Archive: archive.org/details/epidemic_202505
