In September 2019, The Epping Ongar Railway organised an RT/RF Celebration day. Centred at North Weald station, about thirty buses of the RT family were in attendance. Some were on static display in the station carpark. A good selection took visitors on tours of local country roads and into Epping Forest.
The day was well organised with a comprehensive timetable enabling everyone to get the opportunity to travel on the buses of their choice. The day culminated with a road run of all buses attending, finishing in a large field adjacent to Harlow Garden Centre for a photo line-up. An all-in price of £10 made this excellent value for a most enjoyable day.
