Welcome back to the 2025 Campvue Northern Tour on the Cactus Atlas. In this episode, we arrive at Bannack State Park in Montana, the state’s first territorial capital and one of the best-preserved ghost towns in the West.
We spend the day wandering through its historic streets, exploring buildings inside and out—from the old hotel and schoolhouse to cabins and storefronts that once buzzed with frontier life. We also visit the gallows and cemetery, reminders of Bannack’s rough-and-tumble past and the challenges faced by early settlers.
