The Lexington has been ordered by Admiral Stoker to the planet Taurus II in the Murasaki 312 cluster. The planet was first surveyed a year and a half ago by the USS Enterprise and nearly resulted in the death of the whole landing party led by Commander Spock. The admiral believes that the ionic storms the planet is known for may be connected to potential Tilikaal ruins under the surface, and we are tasked with investigating.
We will have to visit the planet covertly because the natives are still in their stone age, and are also known to be aggressive and stand around 3 meters tall, so not only is the prime directive a concern, but they pose a significant physical threat to any landing party personnel. I am organizing a landing party, and I am considering issuing phaser rifles set to stun, but I will consult with Mr. Krrok about that.
