I took the DJI Neo and DJI Avata 2 drones out for an awesome FPV test flight over the stunning Snake River Canyon this Autumn. Using the DJI Goggles. 3 and Motion Controller. Plus, I used the Direction Track feature on the DJI Neo to nail the perfect intro. The drone flights were super immersive with the FPV goggles and motion controller, and Neo's footage was surprisingly great for a $200 drone!
I would caution anyone flying with FPV goggles to ensure you have a spotter. I was out at the Canyon on a spur-of-the-moment flight, no one knew I was there, with no spotter while standing feet away from the Canyon edge. In short, don't be me, be safe when you fly!
