SURF DONDOZO TERRORIZES A LADDER TOURNAMENT | 2026 VGC REG H
Howdy Ho, YouTube! Today, I am ending the Dondozo Trilogy with a set I've wanted to play for a while: Surf Dondozo. That's right. This bad boy gets Surf! Let's take a look.
Dondozo is simple. Tera Water, Mystic Water, Max Special Attack, and Modest. It hurts. It also has Sleep Talk to help with Amoonguss. It's partnered with a standard Tatsugiri, but this has Ability Shield since the other common items were already taken.
To complement Dondozo, the team has a rain mode with Pelipper and Basculegion. The Pelipper has Damp Rock to help the weather stay longer for Dondozo, and Basculegion is the standard choice band set. However, I opted for Aqua Jet over Tera Blast. Finally, the last two answer the most common Haze users in the format.
Pawmot handles Primarina and can get healing from any electric attack it swaps into. Dragonite answers opposing Dragonite with the 4x effective Ice Spinner. This also helps eliminate Rillaboom's Grassy Terrain. The team is fun, and I hope you give it a try!
