CAN HOOPA UNBOUND BEAT THE FRAUD ALLEGATIONS? | 2026 VGC REG J
Howdy Ho, YouTube! Today, I am using a Hoopa Unbound team that I found on Twitter. I thought it looked fun, so let's take a look!
Hoopa is an interesting Pokémon. Psychic/Dark is a double-edged sword for typing, and its speed tier is in the awkward middle ground. Also, its Defense is terrible. This team opts to fix that. Coaching, Choice Scarf Annihilape boosts Hoopa's attack and defense, so it can also heal back more from Drain Punch. Zacian partners with it to cover some higher speed tier Pokémon while also benefiting from Coaching Boosts.
Tornadus provides speed control and works wonders next to Urshifu, as it can also set up the rain. Finally, Amoonguss provides healing with Pollen Puff and redirection with Rage Powder. The tools are set, but is it enough to make Hoopa Unbound viable in Regulation J? Let's find out!
