hiya! back again with another english cover, this song is one of my favorites (I already have two covers of it already up on my channel lmao) so here it is, translated to the best of my ability + written to the best of my ability haha. Translators note:
All the Japanese words that are kept in, i.e. ”コン” (kon), ”トン” (ton), ”ポン” (pon), are all onomatopoeia words, so they were a bit difficult to translate. I decided to stick with the original Japanese, as the English translation sounded clunky to me and others I shared with.
For reference:
- Kon/コン = A knocking sound, a thud (used like ”コンコン”/"konkon" to imitate knocking on a door)
- Ton/ポン = A tapping sound, can be used as a knock but it's a lighter noise (e.g. a "kon" would be a loud thud, a "ton" would be a quieter thump)
- Pon/ポン = A patting sound, or a clapping sound
- Zun/ズン = A sound made when going quickly, moving very fast
