In this episode, we take a HUGE step forward on our race truck build… and run straight into a problem we didn’t expect.
We pulled the Caterpillar engine out of our Kenworth sled pulling truck to make room for the Scania V8 swap — but halfway through, we realized our clutch setup isn’t going to work like we planned.
What we thought would be a simple bolt-on solution turned into a major setback.
Luckily, we got in touch with a custom clutch company that builds racing setups, and if everything goes right, they can turn us around a new setup in about a week. It’s tight timing… but we’re not giving up.
This build is far from easy, but we’re pushing forward and staying on track to make this Scania-powered race truck a reality.
